Give a lot of RESPECT

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

We all know what it should be, but do we do it?

What examples do we set for the kids?

Does the referee making a mistake whilst they are learning really matter?

What matters is do the kids feel a positive environment.

We try our best to create the best environment for all the children to enjoy their football. We will not let it be ruined by the minority.

Parents

Ian is a parent in our league. This video gives some great help for parents who want to help their children. A must watch.

FA Campaign

We all love the game and are passionate but are you creating the best environment for yours and other children to thrive in.

Watch this video and if this is you then please dont come anywhere near our league.

MYSL LEAGUE RESPECT RULES

Have Fun

It is why we are all here.

Celebrate

Celebrate effort and good play from both sides

Respect the referee

They are learning too and most are under 18. Pro referees make mistakes and they have 20+ years experience and get paid a little bit more than £10 an hour. Abuse to refs has a zero tolerance.

Stay off the pitch

Parents and spectators have to stay behind the fence or barrier. Only 2 approved coaches are allowed on the touchline.

Expect mistakes will happen

When players make mistakes, offer them encouragement to try again next time. Dont expect children to be perfect all the time.

If you cant say anything positive, dont say it all.

Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour. This will not be tolerated and will be dealt with using our respect rules.

MYSL RESPECT RULES

All parents/spectators must agree to these.

  1. All coaches to have completed the FA Respect e-learning course
  2. All parents and spectators to read and agree the respect campaign
  3. Any incidents reported by referees/staff members will be dealt with quickly by the MYSL commitee.
  4. Any player, coach or parent that gives any abuse to a referee, spectator or player will be dealt with from a 1 game ban to a lifetime ban depending on incident.
  5. Incidents will also be reported to Manchester FA who may take further action.
  6. Enjoy it. We are all here to enjoy the childrens football. No one is winning the world cup today, so make it the best environment for yours and everyone else children
